About Me.
Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting my page.

I married my high school sweetheart, and together we have five wonderful children—three boys and two girls—ranging in age from 17 down to 8.
I was blessed with an amazing OBGYN for all but our oldest. He truly allowed me to labor in a way that felt comfortable for me while still accomplishing the goal of safely bringing our babies into the world. My very last birth, however, was one I was unexpectedly terrified of. I don’t fully know why, except that I struggled deeply with postpartum depression after baby number four.
When it was time to go to the hospital, the doctors looked at my nurses and said, “Leave her alone. She knows what she’s doing, and if she needs you, she will call you.” I remember the nurses looking at him like, Are you sure?—but they listened. That birth ended up being the best one. It was just my husband and me, and the nurses came in only when it was time for our baby to arrive.
As time went on, I began having conversations with new moms about their labor and delivery experiences, and so many of them were nothing like mine. It broke my heart that they weren’t having positive experiences—but what hurt even more was realizing that many of them didn’t know they had a voice or the right to be heard.
That realization is what birthed my desire to support and serve mothers. I want to help moms become informed about their rights, learn natural ways to navigate labor, and feel empowered to make the decisions that are right for them. I provide emotional, physical, and informational support—everything in between.
I am certified through Luma Nova Rural Doula Training, based in Southeast New Mexico, and I look forward to continuing my education to further improve and expand the services I offer.
